Some pics of Little Miss Madison

Well, I had the pleasure of keeping little Miss Madison today while her usual baby sitter enjoyed a day off. I had big plans to get some Christmas presents knocked out today (hoping for some framable images), but unfortunately I couldn't quite capture what I was going for, but I did get some cute pics! I am looking forward to next week and see if I can help a few of the good ones with some photoshopping! Here's a sneak peek at some of the better ones.. Little Lady was wide awake the whole time, and just as content as could be :)

I know, I know ... Auntie LOVES BIG bows ;)

Sweet... Hoping photoshop may professionalize this one

Kisses on the lips for Madison! Sweet boy would not be still long enough to get a good one of the two of them...
Still working on STAY ... Bella still has him beat on that one ;)

Was hoping for a little Christmasy look --- Not sure I love the black but it is much easier to work with in photoshop

Funny face pretty lady

Still need some photoshop on the black ...

Getting a head start on Christmas Card pictures

I just LOVE taking pictures of the little man! But, I am REALLY wanting one of those clickers things (wireless remote shutter release) so I take pictures with me in them too... Remind me of this when I can't come up with anything for Christmas ;)! Anywho... I wanted to get a test run of possibilities for Christmas card pictures of Jacob! So, Off I went around the neighborhood to try some backgrounds and outfits... Jacob is learning STAY... Poor Kiddo (I feel like I am teaching a dog to stay... Hehe)! But, What a Beautiful Day to take some pictures! I LOVE FALL! Well, Here are some of the better ones...

This is ONE thing I LOVE about Tennessee -- The trees are AMAZING -- and I just LOVE fall

No, You STAY! LOL!

What?!

Fake Cry...

Gotta LEAF!

Its COOL!

RUN!!

Not Staying...

LAST one of the day and probably my FAV!

Chair Project

I have been wanting some wing back chairs for awhile now, but I have bee waiting for the right chairs at the right price! Well, yesterday a fried from church sent me a message that she may have found them... And, she did! I bought the pair of chairs off craigslist for $35. The cushions, foam, and frame are in great condition so they're perfect for my re-covering project! I have never recovered anything, so I am hoping I didn't get myself into more than I can handle! However, I am anxious to dig in and see what I can do! Here are the chairs -- Basic (Which is good for me I didn't want to have to try to figure out buttons or any kind of fancy back for my first project!) They are also a little on the small side which I also like!

So, Here is the inspiration...Thank You Pinterest!
Here is what I am going for... New printed fabric on the old design chair

Here's another idea -- Zebra Print
Here are some site I've found to help me through the project... Again, Thank you pinterest!

NOW to get started! I will update with my progress!

11/1/12: Well, What a Project!! Still working on completing this one! WHOA! I will say taking the chair a part was way harder than getting it back together! All that it lacks is welting around the bottom, the bottom fabric (just a black covering), and the cushion! ... Then one more...

Madison's Dedication

We had a terrific weekend with lots of family in town! It was SO nice to have everyone in town with some time to just enjoy everyones company! Friday night we all went to Rendezvous (probably the most famous Memphis BBQ restaurant), and then we had a chance to walk around downtown for a bit. Saturday was a laid back day with lots of time to play with the babies!  Jacob and Madison were both little angels and seemed to LOVE all the attention. Sunday was Madison's BIG day, and we ALL made it to church on-time -- That must be some kind of record! ;) It was a great service, and it so nice to have a praying family who is committed to helping us raise these children up to love the Lord! ... Awesome! I am so PROUD of this family and this little girl! I look forward to watch her and Jacob grow up together. Here are some snap shots of the weekend (I didn't get nearly as many as I'd have liked)...

House Keeper in Training?

I WISH!

Jason and I have been laughing so hard at Jacob the last few weeks. His latest thing is do get the towels out of the drawer and start wiping down the cabinets or floors... I guess he spends a little too much time at home with Mommy! Here's the evidence (excuse the redneck/no clothes baby-- we had just finished breakfast and were in the process of getting ready)!
