Summer!
Well, Summer is OFFICIALLY here at the Craig household! We lost our regularly babysitter a few weeks ago, and we have been anxiously awaiting summer for our new baby sitter to come home from college. We are excited to have Jason's little (but much taller) brother, Chase, in town for the summer. Chase will be helping Jason and Justin out at the shop this summer, and we're excited to get to spend some time with him! He is very attentive and sweet with Jacob, and I am excited to have a willing baby sister just around the corner!
Jacob LOVES his Uncle Chase! Chase came over the other evening to fix some stuff at our house, and Jacob thought he needed some help!
Last weekend, We had a great time hanging out with our church family at a all church fellowship. We had BBQ and potluck sides, and just relaxed outside with friends. The college kids are now all home for the summer, so it was great to introduce Chase to some of them! We have such a great group of kids, and I am looking forward to a great summer with them!
Ashley is our new baby sitter for the summer. She was actually one of my student aides when I was teaching, and we know her and her family through our church. We are so excited that things worked out for her to watch Jacob this summer! Jacob just LOVES Ashley! You may have seen a video she posted on Facebook of him laughing... Here is the video I caught! What a sweet, happy boy he is!

E-Trade Baby
We think Jacob is just the cutest little guy ever... So maybe we are a little bias! But, we get comments all the time about how Jacob should be the next E-Trade baby! Afterall, he is our little technology guy and is getting pretty good at playing with our iPhones and his iPad... Maybe he needs to be the Apple Baby :)

Dr's Appointment
Today, Jacob had to follow up with his Pediatrician, Dr. D, to check his ears following his antibotics. She said everything looks good, and we can stop the antibiotics! We did get an official weight while we were there 17.6 lbs! I was looking at some growth charts on the CDC's website and he's doing pretty good! It said a baby should triple their birth weight in the first year....So, A 7 lb baby should weigh about 21 lbs at their first birthday! According to this, the 50% for a 1 year old is about 23 lbs... Not too bad! So PROUD of that boy!
I have been putting Jacob in a few 12 month outfits, but they're still a little too big! It was another pretty, HOT day here in Memphis. I tried to snap a few pictures while Jacob was helping me with the yard work, but it was almost TOO sunny and HOT outside to do much, but I did get a couple of okay shots in his firetruck outfit! :]

Dinner with "Uncle" Dan
Things are settling down around the Craig household... Jason is on his "moving days" with Pinnacle from his base switch back to Memphis. So, we are enjoying a few days with friends and family! Jason's friend, Dan, fixed a terrific dinner last night, and we had a great time hanging out! I brought my camera with the intention of getting Jacob's Picture with everyone... Well, I got a couple!
Today is officially Jacob's 11 month Birthday, and since I am supposed to be sleeping again.... PICTURE TIME!! I really wanted to catch Jacob standing hands free... He was more interested in trying to eat rocks and grass... But, We got a few! :) Happy 11 months, Jacob!
